One key aspect of this engineering approach is a site planning methodology that ensures a smooth and quality system installation in your facility.

Cray offers Site Engineering Assistance to help you plan for the installation of your computer and storage configuration. We assist your facilities management staff with planning and designing your site for adequate footprint, power, and cooling at your facility.

Cray Site Engineers:

• Conduct a detailed Site Planning Survey (including under floor) of your facility to ensure adequate access, footprint, power and cooling are available for your installation.
• Determine accurate power and cooling requirements and provide a detailed schematic illustrating the system footprint encompassing all equipment.
• Work with your facilities management staff throughout site preparation to ensure work is completed within project timescales.
• Consult with your facilities management staff to answer any questions pertaining to planning your data center space, power, and cooling requirements.
