Cray User Group
The Cray User Group (CUG) is an independent, volunteer organized, international corporation of member organizations that own or use Cray Inc. computer systems with emphasis on high-end performance, technical computing and visualization. CUG’s mission is to provide leadership and information exchange to enable the development and effective use of high performance computing assets, tools, and resources in achieving the business and research objectives of CUG members.
CUG conferences have been held all over the world including Germany, Spain, Japan, UK, Switzerland, France, Canada, and many cities in the US. As of 2008, 50 major conferences have been held since the origin of CUG in 1978.

CUG 2011 Annual Meeting
The annual Cray User Group meeting, CUG 2011, will take place May 23-26 in Fairbanks, Alaska. The conference theme, Golden Nuggets of Discovery, reflects upon the discovery of gold that led to the founding of Fairbanks and the scientific discoveries made possible through high performance computing.
